A premiação do Critics Choice Awards 2021, aconteceu nesse último domingo (7) e premiou filmes e série em 34 categorias divididas entre televisão e cinema.

Dentre as séries mais indicadas, Ozark e The Crown lideram a lista com seis categorias cada. Lovecraft Country também se destaca, com cinco indicações, além de The Mandalorian.

Em relação aos filmes, o longa Mank de David Fincher se destaca com 12 indicações, seguido de perto por Minari com 10. Vale destacar que pelo ano difícil que a indústria audiovisual teve por conta da pandemia da COVID-19, muitos filmes foram adiados para 2021 e 2022. Sendo assim, a premiação acabou tendo menos representantes de peso do que o esperado.

O Critics Choice Awards 2021 foi o 26º ano do evento e a premiação é votada pela associação de críticos de cinema e televisão dos EUA. Essa edição será feita de forma híbrida, na qual o anfitrião Taye Diggs e alguns apresentadores estarão no palco, enquanto indicados aparecem por videoconferência diretamente de casa. Mesmo formato utilizado nas últimas edições do Emmy e do Globo de Ouro.

Vale destacar que há muitos anos, a premiação é o principal termômetro para o Oscar, e tem revelado muitos vencedores. Com isso, vamos a lista de indicados e vencedores!
